Who We Are & What We Do
The Watchers CIC is a community-led night-time safety initiative working to keep people safe in town and city centres.
We provide visible patrols by trained, SIA-licensed volunteers during busy night-time hours, offering support to anyone who may be vulnerable, distressed, or at risk.
Our team helps by:
Assisting people in getting home safely
Providing reassurance and a calm presence
Contacting licensed taxis or emergency services when needed
Observing and reporting incidents to the appropriate authorities
Our goal is simple:
to reduce harm, support vulnerable individuals, and make nights out safer for everyone.
We operate in a professional, non-judgemental, and non-discriminatory way, with a strong focus on safeguarding and public wellbeing.
